Now Hiring: Preventive Maintenance Assistant Technician

Location: Fair Lawn, NJ
Pay Rate: $30- $35/hr
Contract-to-Hire
Schedule: 40 hours per week (8-hour shifts)
Shift Availability: Must be flexible to work rotating shifts, including weekends and overtime as needed.

We're hiring a Preventive Maintenance Assistant Technician in Fair Lawn, NJ ! This is an excellent contract-to-hire opportunity for mechanically inclined professionals looking to grow their career in a manufacturing environment.

Position DetailsKey Responsibilities

• Organize preventive maintenance activities and assist with scheduling work.

• Serve as backup to the Group Leader, including overtime management.

• Document preventive maintenance activities accurately.

• Repair vacuum systems, process gas systems, gas cabinets, and perform leak checks.

• Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment issues safely and efficiently.

• Follow all standard operating procedures and safety guidelines.

• Promote a safe, healthy, and quality-focused work environment.

• Participate in required training and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant maintenance or manufacturing experience .

• Mechanically inclined with experience using power tools and light machining equipment.

• Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

• Self-motivated with a positive attitude and commitment to workplace safety.
