Mortgage Operations Specialist

Job Description Job Description We are currently recruiting for a Mortgage Operations Specialist in Stamford, CT. The role will be in-office with some flexibility for hybrid in future. The ideal candidate will have experience in processing, post-closing, compliance and / or operations with a solid understanding of mortgage processes and regulatory requirements. 70K – 75K Base Benefits Responsibilities Compliance oversight with assisting in daily operations, including post-closing, loan opening/setup, QC reviews, regulatory compliance & compliance training. Assist with regulatory exams, Mortgage Call Reports and all state regulatory reporting requirements, quarterly & annual. Coordinate, implement, and track completion of annual compliance training programs to ensure adherence to regulatory and company requirements. Collaborate with third-party QC vendor to create file selection uploads, review preliminary and final audit reports, and coordinate management responses and corrective action reviews. Assist with post-closing operations, including processing closing packages, uploading closed loan for purchase review, and clearing post-closing conditions in a timely and accurate manner. Serve as a backup resource for preparing and issuing initial loan disclosures to ensure timely and compliant delivery. Local candidates only.
