The Clinical Specialist II will provide medication order assessment, clinical and consultative services, and will take responsibility for establishing and expanding clinical services within their area of practice. They will develop medication protocols, order sets, perform medication utilization reviews, and lead performance improvement projects to optimize drug therapy. The role also involves actively developing and presenting educational topics, staff development programs, and acting as a preceptor to students and residents. The Clinical Specialist II will serve as a mentor and clinical resource for staff and other health care providers, represent pharmacy on committees and collaborative meetings, and participate in research, formal presentations and publications. Estimated salary range: $122,475.25 – $159,217.83 per year. Qualifications Doctorate of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) Registered Pharmacist license Additional qualifications: Doctorate of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.)
