Lead Material Handler

The Lead Material Handler directs daily shipping dock operations and coordinates team workflows. This role ensures the safe, accurate, and timely shipping and receiving of customer electronic equipment. You will monitor performance metrics, resolve operational hurdles, utilize warehouse management systems, and occasionally drive a company vehicle for local deliveries.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct daily work activities of shipping dock personnel.
• Handle shipping and receiving of sensitive electronic equipment.
• Monitor dock KPIs to meet daily throughput goals.
• Use computers and logistics software to process shipments.
• Resolve inventory discrepancies, shipping errors, and logistics delays.
• Drive a company delivery vehicle on occasion for local runs.
• Enforce warehouse safety protocols and proper equipment handling.

Qualifications and Skills

• Minimum 2–3 years in warehouse logistics or shipping.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Proven ability to guide teams and delegate tasks effectively.
• Proficient in computer systems and shipping software (e.g., ERP, WMS).
• Strong analytical skills to resolve dock and inventory issues.
• Capability to lift, push, and safely move electronic equipment.
• Willingness to work mandatory overtime based on business demands.

The salary range for this position (in local currency) is 17.64-32.74
