Full-Cycle Accountant / AR & AP Specialist
Fully Remote — Nashville, TN Area Candidates Only

• Reports To: Director of Accounting & Finance
• Requirement: Must attend one monthly in-person meeting in Franklin, TN, and potentially other days as needed
• Target Start Date: August 31, 2026
• Employment Type: Full-Time
• Compensation: $70,000–$78,000, depending on experience

 
ABOUT THE ROLE:

• We are seeking a skilled, full-cycle Accountant who loves optimizing processes as much as balancing the books. If you are a collaborative problem-solver who is eager to automate manual workflows, build efficiencies, and grow alongside an evolving organization, you will thrive here
• This is a hands-on role where you will manage day-to-day accounting functions across accounts receivable, accounts payable, and payroll. The ideal candidate will also have experience streamlining automation and accounting technology, specifically integrating client billing portals and automating workflows within NetSuite

 
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
PROCESS AUTOMATION & SYSTEMS OPTIMIZATION

• Streamline Workflows: Champion the automation of invoicing, accounts payable, and collections processes
• Systems Integration: Play an integral role in integrating various client accounts receivable portals, such as Coupa and Ariba, into NetSuite to eliminate manual data entry

Revenue & Receivables

• Manage sales invoicing, collections, and overall accounts receivable management
• Handle client portal management, including Coupa, Ariba, and similar platforms
• Respond promptly to client accounting inquiries
• Manage specialized 6039 invoicing requirements

Payables, Payroll & Cash Management

• Oversee accounts payable management, approvals, and monthly vendor reconciliations
• Manage timecard submissions and approvals
• Handle payroll inputs using the company's Professional Employer Organization, or PEO, and post related payroll entries
• Perform monthly bank and credit card reconciliations

Core Accounting & Reporting

• Execute monthly bookkeeping, fixed asset management, and month-end closing entries
• Assist with forecast management
• Compile ad hoc reports for leadership
• Maintain strong internal controls across all financial processes

 
ROLE REQUIREMENTS:
Education & Experience

• Degree: A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting is preferred but not required. Certifications, experience, and other credentials will also be considered
• Experience: Three to five years of full-cycle accounting experience
• Software: Experience with NetSuite is highly preferred
• Tool Proficiency: Must be highly comfortable working entirely in Google Sheets. We are a Google Workspace organization and generally do not use Microsoft Excel
