Description Sangre de Cristo Community Care is looking for a Full Time Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our dynamic team in our La Junta office located in beautiful South Eastern Colorado. Completes visit notes accurately and timely. Reviews patient’s injury/diagnosis and takes necessary precautions for observing indications and contraindications. Keeps the supervising therapist informed of patient status, problem areas, progress, etc., Qualifications: Must be at least 21 years of age. Successful completion of an Associate Degree from an Occupational Therapy Assistant accredited program and shall at minimum possess a current certification from the National Board for Certification of Occupational Therapy (NBOT). Prefer experience with physical rehabilitation either through educational affiliations or prior work associations. Must be licensed or eligible for licensure in Colorado. Must have a valid non-restricted driver’s license. Flexibility and availability to work a weekend schedule if needed. Two years of appropriate experience as a COTA.
