About the Role: As a Property Administrator you'll play a key role in managing landlord relationships, lease compliance, and property maintenance initiatives across a portfolio of retail locations. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who thrives on collaboration, problem-solving, and driving projects to successful completion. Key Responsibilities:- Manage landlord-related maintenance and repair obligations, ensuring timely resolution in accordance with lease terms.
- Coordinate shopping center projects with landlords and obtain necessary Real Estate approvals.
- Review leases and amendments to determine responsibilities, required actions, and repair obligations.
- Advise Facility Coordinators on landlord versus tenant responsibilities for repairs and replacements.
- Prepare and issue lease-related legal notices, casualty letters, and self-help notices as required.
- Collaborate with landlords to facilitate timely completion of repairs and ensure compliance with lease provisions.
- Establish and monitor self-help deadlines, track project progress, and collect applicable landlord reimbursements.
- Maintain and update Site Link records, including supporting legal documentation.
- Research and provide lease-related information for Estoppels, Waivers, and Real Estate Law requests.
- Support departmental initiatives and complete special projects and assignments as needed.
- 2+ years Property Management/Lease Administration experience.
- BA degree or equivalent Property Management experience in a retail environment preferred.
- Must have an ability to understand legal terminology and interpret Lease clauses; and demonstrate an ability to successfully argue those terms and interpretations.
- Must have excellent verbal and written skills.
- Must have excellent organizational skills and be detailed oriented.
- Must be able to meet multiple monthly deadlines.
- Must have strong Word and Excel skills.
- Work hours: 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday.
- Parking: On-campus parking available.
- Environment: Business casual dress code.
