School Psychologist

Make a difference in the lives of students as a School Psychologist working with Transitional Kindergarten through 5th grade learners. This contract opportunity offers a dynamic environment with exposure to a variety of settings, including TK/K Special Day Classrooms, learning support rooms, and moderate Special Day Classrooms. Situated near Folsom, CA, you’ll collaborate with a dedicated educational team and play a key role in fostering student growth and success. Compensation for this role ranges from $55-$65 per hour, reflecting the value and specialized expertise that skilled School Psychologists provide. Qualifications and Desired Background: Valid credential or licensure for School Psychology (PPS Credential or equivalent) Experience supporting TK-5th grade students preferred Familiarity with assessments, IEP processes, and development of intervention plans Strong collaboration skills with teachers, families, and support staff Understanding of best practices in behavior management, learning differences, and mental health support in school settings Ability to work independently and manage a diverse caseload across multiple classroom types Key Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments Interpret results and present findings to IEP teams and families Contribute to eligibility decisions and help create individualized education plans for students Provide consultation to teachers in support of effective classroom interventions Deliver direct services such as counseling, social skills groups, or behavioral support for varied student needs Work proactively with staff in both SDC and general education environments to ensure students’ academic and emotional needs are met As you step into this impactful role, you’ll help shape educational journeys and create meaningful change for students facing diverse challenges. #J-18808-Ljbffr
