This company is a global leader in materials science, making products used in life sciences, electronics, and other industries. This role supports the customer service team at a manufacturing and distribution site, handling calls and orders for a large customer base.

- Case management software experience such as Salesforce
- Order entry and order management system experience
- Call center or high volume phone and email support experience
What You'll Do
- Answer incoming calls and emails from customers
- Enter and manage orders accurately for a large customer base
- Track and update case management records for inquiries and orders
- Provide pricing, inventory, and shipping information to customers
- Handle customer issues and find solutions independently
- Update customer profiles including payment terms and shipping details
- Follow up with internal teams on account setup changes
- Support the complaints team as needed
- Attend product and technical training sessions
- Follow up with customers until issues are fully resolved
What We Need From You
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2 or more years of customer service or call center experience
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Typing speed of 50 words per minute or more
- Comfortable working in a fast paced environment with high call and order volume
Preferred/Bonus
- Experience in the life sciences industry
- Experience with PeopleSoft order management or a similar system
- Experience with Salesforce case management
- Prior call center experience
