Communications SpecialistDuration - 12 months Location - Framingham, MA Role Impact Drive internal communications for the Engineering organization by transforming complex technical strategies into clear, actionable messaging. Partner with Engineering leadership, the Chief of Staff, Enterprise Communications, and cross-functional teams to improve organizational alignment, support change initiatives, and strengthen executive communications across the business.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop executive presentations, leadership decks, organization-wide updates, FAQs, newsletters, and knowledge base contentTranslate engineering strategy, transformation initiatives, and operating priorities into clear, repeatable messaging and narrative frameworksPartner with Engineering leadership and the Chief of Staff to prepare communications for all-hands meetings, QBRs, organizational milestones, and executive presentationsCreate structured communication plans supporting organizational change, process improvements, tooling implementations, and operating model updatesPartner with Enterprise Communications to ensure alignment with corporate messaging, brand standards, and communication strategyMaintain consistency across communication channels, leadership messaging, and engineering content platformsSupport communication planning, execution, and adoption for major engineering initiatives and business prioritiesMinimum QualificationsBachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, English, Business, Marketing, or related field; equivalent experience considered5+ years of internal communications, executive communications, corporate communications, or related experienceExecutive-level business writing, presentation development, and storytelling experienceExperience supporting senior leaders in complex or matrixed organizationsCore Tools & SystemsConfluenceGoogle WorkspaceInternal knowledge management platformsMicrosoft ExcelMicrosoft OutlookMicrosoft PowerPointMicrosoft TeamsMicrosoft WordSharePointSlackPreferred SkillsEngineering, technology, software development, or R&D industry experienceChange management and organizational transformation communicationsExecutive storytelling, visual communication, and presentation design for technical audiences
