Senior Estimator

Job Title: Senior Estimator or Estimator 
Job Location: Columbia, SC
Salary: $120k-$150k + bonus, benefits, vehicle, etc. 
Requirements: 5+ Years Experience as Construction Estimator on commercial projects. 

This is a full time/permanent position with a well established General Contractor with a wide range of commercial projects. Due to consistent growth, they are currently hiring for experienced Estimators to prepare detailed estimates for ground-up commercial projects. Perks / Benefits

What You Will Be Doing

• Review project plans, specifications, and related documents to understand the scope of work.
• Prepare detailed cost estimates for labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor services.
• Analyze project requirements and identify potential cost-saving opportunities.
• Collaborate with project managers to develop and maintain project budgets.
• Conduct site visits to gather information and verify existing conditions.

What You Need for this Position

• 5+ Years Experience as an Estimator on Commercial projects 
• Proficiency in estimating software
• Excellent analytical and mathematical skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field (preferred)
