Anesthesiology - Anesthesiologist (Physician #)

Somnia Anesthesia, a physician-owned and clinician-led group, is actively seeking Per Diem Anesthesiologists to join their expanding team at Island Health Hospital in Anacortes, WA. This role offers a competitive per diem rate and the opportunity to work in a Level 2 Stroke and Level 3 Trauma Center. New graduates are encouraged to apply for this position in a coastal maritime city close to Seattle. Case mix includes General, blocks, OB, Ortho, Uro, Gyn, podiatry, spines, GI, ENT, and Peds (No heads, hearts or vascular). The facility has 3 ORs, 1 Endo, and OB coverage for 3 labor rooms. The hospital handles approximately 6,000 cases annually (Main OR: 2,803, Endo: 2,756, and OB: 438). Charting is done using Meditech Expanse EMR/EHR, with anesthesia charts on paper. Medication management/digital pharmacy uses Pyxis. Per diem rate: $3000/day Additional stipends and hourly pay for call duty (not required, but encouraged) Referral bonus of up to $5,000 Shift & Schedule ~ Remote pager call
