Mechanical Engineer
Gambit Robotics is developing a new kind of kitchen robot, which demands hardware that is capable, safe, and reliable in a demanding everyday environment. A hands-on role building the systems that move intelligence into the physical world.
Role Description
As a Mechanical Engineer, you'll design and develop the physical systems that make Gambit's robotic platform precise, durable, and ready for the real world.
Responsibilities
Own mechanical designs from concept through prototype and test. Collaborate with electrical, software, and robotics teams on integrated systems. Build, test, and improve hardware through rapid iteration.
Qualifications
Strong mechanical design experience and proficiency with professional CAD tools. Familiarity with prototyping, manufacturing processes, and design for reliability. A practical, detail-oriented approach to hardware development.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with robotic mechanisms, actuators, or kitchen-grade hardware. Familiarity with tolerance analysis, testing, and vendor collaboration.
