Patient Care Tech - Full-Time Days

Role: Under RN supervision, provides direct patient care, transport, and support duties, ensuring adherence to care standards within scope of practice. Responsibilities include: Communicating effectively with patients and families using AIDET performing hourly rounds answering calls promptly orienting patients managing patient belongings preparing rooms maintaining a safe environment assisting with transfers and ambulation applying and monitoring oxygen and restraints collecting specimens performing point-of-care testing supporting bedside procedures Assists with treatments such as EKG setup, skin traction, cast removal, and documentation of intake/output. Supports emergency response, transports deceased patients, and ensures safety protocols to prevent falls and infections. Provides break coverage and collaborates with team members to maintain unit functionality. Qualifications & Skills: CNA certification, RN student or graduate, EMT or Paramedic license, or Medical Assistant certification. BCLS or ACLS certification required within six months of hire.
