Security Officer

Salary Wage: $22.00 per hour. Overview Securitas plays an essential role for our clients and society. The Security Officer position helps maintain a safe and secure environment by actively monitoring premises, patrolling various locations, preserving order while enforcing regulations and directives for personnel, visitors, and the area, and providing customer service to client employees and customers. Responsibilities Observe and report activities and incidents at the assigned client site to ensure security and safety of client property and personnel. Provide customer service and information to client employees and customers. Physical Requirements Frequent sitting, standing, and walking for long periods. Ability to climb stairs and walk on uneven terrain. Ability to lift up to 10 pounds regularly and up to 25 pounds occasionally. Qualifications Minimum 2+ years of security experience. Stable work history. Excellent customer service skills. Pass a drug screen and background check. Meet and maintain applicable state, county, and municipal licensing requirements for security officers/guards.
