The Material Handler plays a vital role in supporting warehouse and production activities by managing the flow, storage, and movement of raw materials and finished goods. Working typically within a medium-sized team, this position ensures efficient and safe handling of inventory using equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks during the day shift. Attention to detail, teamwork, and adherence to safety protocols are crucial for maintaining smooth operations.

Responsibilities

• Manage receiving, unloading, and storing of raw materials and finished goods.
• Perform order picking and stock replenishment to support production and shipping schedules.
• Operate material handling equipment including forklifts and pallet jacks safely and efficiently.
• Maintain organized warehouse layout to optimize space and inventory accessibility.
• Conduct inventory counts and assist with inventory management processes.
• Ensure compliance with warehouse safety procedures and use of PPE.
• Coordinate loading of outbound shipments to meet delivery timelines.
• Collaborate with team members to maintain seamless material flow within the warehouse.

Preferred Qualifications

• 3+ years experience in material handling roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Forklift Operator Certification.
• Knowledge of inventory management and material handling equipment.
• Familiarity with warehouse safety procedures.
• Basic computer skills for inventory tracking.
• Strong attention to detail and physical stamina.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
