Administrative Assistant

Administrative Assistant QPS Employment Group is hiring an Administrative Assistant for a company in Shell Rock, IA. This is a potential to hire opportunity on 1st shift. Administrative Assistant Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Process and manage invoices, purchase orders, and customer order forms accurately and in a timely manner Utilize Microsoft Office Suite, with an emphasis on Excel, for data entry, reporting, and recordkeeping Prepare, review, and maintain basic shipping and receiving documentation Greet visitors and customers in a courteous and professional manner Answer incoming phone calls promptly and professionally, directing inquiries as needed Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems Communicate effectively with internal teams to support daily operations Assist with general clerical tasks, including copying, scanning, and correspondence Support special projects and administrative initiatives as assigned Administrative Assistant Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or certification preferred Previous administrative or office support experience preferred Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel Strong organizational, time-management, and multitasking abilities Excellent verbal and written communication skills Professional demeanor and customer-focused attitude Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment Ability to sit for extended periods and work at a computer workstation Ability to perform repetitive keyboarding and data entry tasks Equipment used include computer, printer, scanner, copier, multi-line phone system, and standard office equipment Occasional overtime may be required based on business needs Business casual or professional office attire; closed-toe shoes required On-the-job training provided; company systems and process training required IND099 QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
