Surgical Tech - Certified Surg Tech

OR Surgical TechDuties include providing technical support in the operating room. Scheduling is assigned by the charge nurse with a six-week rotation for days off. The facility handles various arthroscopies including knee, shoulder, ankle, and wrist procedures. Common surgeries performed are ACLs and a variety of knee and shoulder repairs. Scrubbing for arthroscopies and sports medicine cases is essential. No total knees, total hips, or spine surgeries are performed. On-call is required for case completion only. Techs will not float within the service line. Scrubs will be provided. The daily census includes adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients. A culture of teamwork and collaboration is emphasized in the unit. All facility-specific modules must be completed within the first week of the assignment.
