This acute care hospital operates 260 beds and provides comprehensive medical and surgical services to the surrounding communities. The facility features a closed ICU and maintains established clinical protocols and appropriate resources to support locum tenens clinicians across all assigned coverage periods. Clinicians will provide inpatient hospitalist coverage during day or night shifts on a 7-on/7-off schedule, managing hospitalized patients across all age groups at a 260-bed facility with a closed ICU. Responsibilities include responding to codes and rapid response teams, working alongside a team of physicians and advanced practice providers, and documenting all patient encounters in Epic EMR. No procedures are required for this assignment. Prescriptive authority is required, and clinicians are expected to provide 7-10 shifts per month.
