Job Description Overview We’re one of the world’s largest providers of transportation and logistics services. Our Global Logistics and Distribution business unit provides comprehensive logistics services and warehousing solutions utilizing a global network of distribution centers, innovative technology and supply chain expertise to manage the flow of goods from receiving to storage and order processing to shipment. Job Title Service Parts Logistics (SPL) Supervisor II Responsibilities Act as the primary day-to-day contact for numerous regional middle market / small customers not supported by the global program management team; maintain day-to-day contact with clients to ensure operational execution of customer requirements, resolve issues, identify improvements, and add value to the relationship. Serve as the local advocate and trusted business advisor; collaborate with the Customer Support Manager, Regional Function Managers, and senior staff in the client organization. Manage and lead a portfolio of customer accounts; oversee customer surveys, identify trends, and drive service improvements to reduce churn and grow revenue. Identify opportunities to expand the customer relationship; conduct quarterly business and customer review meetings; track program metrics and profitability; monitor billing; guard against scope creep. May manage administrative Program Management support representatives who support multiple accounts. Responsibilities Include But Not Limited To Manage and Develop Others: align training, staffing, and process administration; identify skill gaps and development opportunities; ensure career goals and plans are documented; conduct regular performance evaluations; hold others accountable to performance levels; provide ongoing coaching and feedback. Manage Customer Accounts and Support Activities: resolve issues from Business Development, customers, and Operations; administer customer surveys; manage revenue retention and churn reduction; share customer service best practices; manage a portfolio of accounts; oversee special projects and project cost estimates; coordinate with Area Managers on project plans. Data and Reporting: gather, organize, and report on special customer data requests; design and oversee monthly/quarterly SLA reporting and business reviews; develop and implement technology and information tool enhancements to improve satisfaction and growth. Budget, Financial and Functional Activities: communicate effectively to staff; sponsor programs to develop product and regulatory knowledge; monitor costs to stay within budget; translate organizational goals into business plans to ensure financial execution. Quality and Process Improvement: monitor service quality and product/service standards; perform data analysis and respond to service surveys; drive process improvements and RCCA (Root Cause Corrective Action) for recurring issues; interface with Customers, Sales, and Operations to expand client relationships; maintain relationships across departments to deliver supply chain services. Customer Implementations and Global Collaboration: lead customer implementations in the existing network; act as liaison between customers and Sales to expand client relationships; ensure UPS meets client performance goals and maintains quality standards for freight services. Skills Required Ability to travel ~10% of the time to client locations Excellent oral and written communication; presentation skills; professional demeanor Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); MS Project is a plus Leadership and team-building skills; ability to plan and prioritize multiple activities Ability to work with all levels of management and client personnel; work independently Strong analytical, financial and business acumen Understanding of distribution centers, reverse logistics, transportation, and related processes Familiarity with partner products and global markets; customer-facing experience worldwide Excellent organizational and time management skills Education and Experience Minimum HS diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred MAPP candidate or a Ready Now Supervisor At least 5 years related industry experience in Account or Project Management Job Details Job Level: 77 - FT Supervisor Job Grade: 20C Working hours: Monday through Friday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Deadline to Apply: July 9, 2026, at 11:59 PM Compensation and Benefits The base pay for this position ranges from $57,840/year in the lowest geographic market up to $107,160/year in the highest geographic market. Pay is based on factors including location, knowledge, skills, education/training, and experience. Eligible for annual incentive programs; benefits may include medical, dental, vision, FSAs, 401(k), and other programs as required by law.
