Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Intermediate Care Duration: 12 Weeks Shift: Night 3x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2 Years License: Current and valid Driver's License or State issued ID required. Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS required. Must-Have: Current critical care or telemetry experience. Candidates must float to meet facility needs. Candidates must be willing to float to other areas if needed. No more than 5 days of requested time off will be accepted. Candidates must provide a utility bill in their name with a matching address within the last three months. Address must be greater than 75 miles from the facility. Description: We are seeking a Registered Nurse with experience in Intermediate Care. The position involves providing nursing care to adults in an intermediate care unit. The daily patient census ranges from 12 to 16 patients. The nurse will work night shifts for 12 hours, three times per week. Patients may have various diagnoses, including COPD, CHF, acute/chronic renal failure, GI bleed, and chest pain. The role may require frequent bedside procedures, including PICC line placement, central lines, thoracentesis, and paracentesis. The nurse will work with interdisciplinary support teams, including physical therapy and respiratory services. Candidates should possess skills in telemetry, BiPAP, and high-flow oxygen. This position requires strong assessment and critical thinking skills. Candidates must comply with all floating and scheduling requirements. References from supervisors are required upon submission.
