When you join WDLT, you are joining a team that believes in doing this work together, for each other and for the people we serve.Why This Role MattersWe are seeking a Clinical Assistant to ensure that the individuals served receive premium clinical services from the agencies programs, while reporting directly to the Lead Clinician. This position is a full-time, 40-hour position which requires two evening shifts per week and two weekend day per month. This position is located at our Naugatuck office and time is also spent at the residential facilities in the Waterbury area. Salary commensurate with experience and credentials.What You’ll DoClinicalAssist in the development of functional behavioral assessments and positive behavioral support plansConduct audits of necessary clinical documentation to ensure clinical programs are being run as scheduledProvide clinical/behavioral support to programs as neededProvide clinical/behavioral support (BEH) for IHS/Supportive HousingCreate and organize (or maintain and re-organize) Positive Behavior Support Program (PBS) books, and PRC/HRC books as neededPerform monthly and quarterly clinical audits through Therap SystemSupport the clinical team with preparation and follow ups from psychiatric appointmentsRepresent the clinical team at Bi-Annual and Annual IP meetings or IDT meetings as neededReview and process all ICES Incident Reports (IIR’s)Prepare PRC/HRC packets for cliniciansSupport PRC/HRC/URR/QSR/CLA Licensing reviews and follow-upsTraining/Training Program SupportTrain direct support professionals on clinical programs and documentationComplete New Hire Training for new managersSupport clinician with staff interactions with individuals and modeling PBS (behavior) plans and Teaching Strategies/Task AnalysisAttend clinical team meetings and complete all tasks and delegated duties as identified in meetings and on meeting minutesParticipate in staff training/re-training as neededBusiness Partner Relationships and CommunicationDevelop a strong understanding of the workings of each department and team in the company and collaborate as neededPerform special projects/assignments as needed.Maintain relationships with all departments and team members.Compliance and Quality AssuranceEnsure compliance with DDS regulations and agency policy.Monitor documentation.Respond to incidents and corrective actions.Promote continuous quality improvement.Program and Organizational ContributionSupport WDLT mission.Participate in leadership meetings.Complete special projects.Other duties as assigned.What We OfferCompetitive salary.Leadership opportunity.Collaborative culture.Professional development.Opportunity to make a meaningful difference.Additional Required ResponsibilitiesLocal travel required.Valid driver’s license.Flexible schedule.Skill-based assessments may be required.Participate in the Shared Living Department on-call rotation to ensure continuous leadership coverage and support.Required Trainings and CertificationsWDLT provides training and support to help you meet all certification requirements. The ability to adapt quickly, change work hours, prioritize competing responsibilities, and respond effectively to changing circumstances is essential.You will work closely with the clinical team to coordinate services, ensure regulatory compliance, support staff development, and promote positive outcomes for the individuals served.This position requires flexibility, sound judgment, and the ability to respond to emergencies, staffing needs, and housing-related concerns in a timely and professional manner. #J-18808-Ljbffr
