Description What You'll Do

• Conduct routine and specialized clinical laboratory tests, such as chemistry, hematology, and immunology, following established protocols.
• Evaluate results for accuracy, troubleshoot discrepancies, and carry out preventive maintenance and calibration on lab equipment.
• Assist in specimen collection and manage sample preparation for testing as required.
• Maintain thorough documentation of all procedures, train new hires or students, and contribute to maintaining lab quality standards.
• Ensure cleanliness and safety in your surroundings, complying with all regulatory and accreditation standards.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science or an equivalent allied health qualification, with preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications

• Must obtain ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) within the first year of employment.
• Maintain current certification during your tenure.
