Responsibilities + Design HVAC, chilled water, hot water, ventilation, and mechanical building systems for a variety of projects. + Prepare engineering calculations, plans, specifications, and construction documents. + Utilize AutoCAD and Revit to develop and coordinate designs. + Collaborate with architects, engineers, and designers throughout all phases of project development. + Manage and support multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring quality and schedule commitments are met. + Review designs for compliance with applicable building codes, standards, and industry best practices. + Participate in project meetings and coordinate with clients and project stakeholders. Qualifications + Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering. + 5+ years of experience in MEP consulting or mechanical building systems design. + Strong background in HVAC system design and mechanical engineering principles. + Proficiency with AutoCAD; Revit experience is highly preferred. + Knowledge of building codes, energy standards, and construction documentation. + Excellent communication and project coordination skills. + Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment. Preferred Qualifications + EIT or PE License. + Experience with healthcare, educational, commercial, retail, or institutional facilities. + Familiarity with sustainable and energy-efficient building design. + Project management experience and client-facing responsibilities. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of New York, NY. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $140000.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
