Your career path with us starts here!RoleThe Revenue Analyst supports the performance of ticket and onboard revenue at Margaritaville at Sea, contributing to both day-to-day optimization and long-term growth initiatives. As part of the Revenue team, this role delivers timely, accurate, and actionable analysis on ticket yield, pricing trends, and onboard revenue streams. The ideal candidate brings strong analytical experience, attention to detail, and the ability to translate data into meaningful recommendations. Success in this role requires a proven track record of working with large datasets and influencing business decisions through data-driven insights.ResponsibilitiesRevenue Performance Analysis: Analyze ticket revenue performance, including pricing trends, booking pace, demand patterns, and yield, to identify risks and opportunities that support revenue optimization.Onboard Revenue Insights: Evaluate onboard revenue streams, including ancillary products and guest spending behavior, to uncover opportunities to increase per-guest revenue and improve overall profitability.Reporting & Dashboard Development: Develop, maintain, and enhance recurring reports, dashboards, and analytical tools to track performance and provide visibility into key business metrics.Pricing & Strategy Support: Support pricing, inventory, and revenue optimization strategies through data analysis, scenario modeling, and performance evaluation.Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Revenue Management, Marketing, Finance, and Operations teams to align insights with broader commercial strategies and ensure data-driven decision-making.KPI Monitoring & Communication: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), identify trends and variances, and communicate actionable insights and recommendations to stakeholders and leadership.Forecasting & Planning Support: Assist in forecasting revenue, demand, and capacity utilization to support both near-term operations and long-term planning, including expansion initiatives.Ad Hoc Analysis: Conduct in-depth, ad hoc analyses to support promotional campaigns, business initiatives, and strategic opportunities.Data Integrity & Quality Assurance: Ensure accuracy, consistency, and integrity of data across systems, reports, and analytical outputs used for decision-making.Data Storytelling & Insights Delivery: Translate complex data into clear, concise insights and presentations that guide business decisions and influence senior leadership.Perform other duties and special projects assigned to support evolving business needs and organizational priorities.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Analytics, Statistics, or a related quantitative field is required.Experience:2–4+ years of experience in revenue management, financial analysis, business analytics, or a related analytical role. Experience within hospitality, travel, cruise, or consumer services industries is preferred.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Strong understanding of revenue management principles, pricing strategy, forecasting, and performance analyticsAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data modeling, pivot tables, and complex formulasExperience with business intelligence and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)Proficiency in BigQuery SQL or other data querying tools is preferred.Ability to analyze large, complex datasets and translate findings into actionable business insightsStrong critical thinking and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindsetExcellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information to non-technical audiencesHigh attention to detail with strong organizational and time management abilitiesProven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environmentAbility to collaborate cross-functionally and build strong working relationships with internal stakeholdersSolid business acumen and understanding of how analytics supports commercial strategySelf-motivated, proactive, and adaptable with a continuous improvement mindsetPhysical Demands: Must be able to remain in a stationary position at a desk and/or computer for extended periods of time.Travel: This role requires periodic travel, including time onboard company cruise ship vessels, to support and gain operational insight.Work Conditions: Work primarily in a climate-controlled environment with minimal safety/health hazard potential.This position is classified as “in-person.” Which means the physical office is in Orlando.Offers to selected candidates will be made on a fair and equitable basis, taking into account specific job-related skills and experience.At Margaritaville at Sea, your total rewards package is much more than your base salary.
