Tire Service Technician

Location : Sacramento, CA
Schedule : Full-Time (Flexible Schedule with On-Call Rotation)
Pay : $24.00 - $28.00 per hour (DOE)
Position Type : Long-Term | Evaluation-to-Hire

Express Employment Professionals is seeking an experienced Tire Service Technician for a well-established tire service company in Sacramento. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with commercial tire experience who enjoys hands-on work, providing outstanding customer service, and working in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Mount, dismount, repair, rotate, and balance a variety of tires, including commercial truck, agricultural, industrial, earthmover, and passenger vehicle tires
• Perform tire inspections and recommend repairs or replacements
• Complete foam-fill tire services as needed
• Respond to roadside service calls and emergency tire repairs
• Perform fleet inspections and preventative tire maintenance for commercial customers
• Operate tire service equipment and shop machinery safely and efficiently
• Assist with inventory management, stocking, and maintaining an organized work area
• Complete service documentation accurately and communicate with customers professionally
• Follow all company safety procedures and OSHA guidelines

Qualifications

• 5+ years of tire service experience in a commercial, industrial, or tire service environment
• Strong knowledge of tire mounting, balancing, repairs, and preventative maintenance
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus, but not required
• Valid California Driver's License with a clean driving record
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment physical assessment

Physical Requirements

• Frequently lift up to 75 pounds independently and team lift over 100 pounds
• Ability to stand, bend, kneel, climb, push, pull, and twist throughout the workday
• Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Ability to operate service trucks, tire equipment, and shop machinery safely
