Make a meaningful impact supporting young learners as a Physical Therapist in a dynamic district office setting. This full-time, contract assignment provides a unique opportunity to serve the infant and toddler population, helping shape development during crucial early years. Collaborate with educational teams and families to craft and deliver effective therapy interventions.
What we’re seeking:
- Maryland Physical Therapy license (required)
- Previous pediatric or school-based Physical Therapy experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of early childhood development and best PT practices
- Ability to communicate empathy and expertise to families and staff
- Team player who thrives in collaborative, multidisciplinary settings
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
Role highlights:
- Deliver therapy services to infants and toddlers as part of a supportive educational team
- Complete assessments, develop treatment plans, and document progress
- Consult with teachers, caregivers, and other professionals to support student growth
- Participate in multi-disciplinary meetings and contribute to Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSPs)
- Travel between locations as needed within the district office environment
- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations regarding therapy services
