Job Title: Ultrasound Technician - Vascular Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Ultrasound Tech - Vascular Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 4x10-Hour Hours per Shift: 07:00 - 17:30 Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience required License: Valid state license required Certifications: ARDMS, ARDMS RVT, BLS, CCI, CCI or RDC Must-Have: General ultrasound experience Fetal ultrasound experience OB ultrasound experience Breast ultrasound experience Transvaginal ultrasound experience Vascular ultrasound experience Echocardiogram experience Adult echo experience Contrast echo experience Echo stress treadmill experience Description: This is a multispecialty position requiring broad ultrasound skills. The ultrasound technician will perform various ultrasound examinations. The role includes general ultrasound, fetal ultrasound, obstetric ultrasound, breast ultrasound, transvaginal ultrasound, vascular ultrasound, and echocardiograms. The technician will work with adult patients and conduct contrast echo studies as well as echo stress treadmills. On-call responsibilities are required Monday through Friday from 5 PM to 8 AM and 24 hours on Saturday and Sunday. Weekend on-call coverage is also required. Patient ratios are expected to be 8 patients to 1 technician. The unit operates 3 rooms with a diverse patient population, including neonates, adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics. The candidate must be able to assist with and precept clinicians. All applicants must provide two professional references covering the past year of experience. Candidates may be expected to float between nearby facilities as necessary. This position offers the opportunity for professional growth and development within a fast-paced environment.
