School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Gastonia, North Carolina

Key Qualifications:

• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
• Active SLP license in North Carolina (or eligibility)
• Clinical Certificate of Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, CFs welcome to apply
• Experience in a school-based setting is a plus
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to develop IEPs and implement therapy plans tailored to individual student needs
• Organization and time management skills for maintaining documentation and scheduling

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide direct and indirect speech-language therapy services to students
• Conduct screenings, evaluations, and assessments
• Develop and update Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Work closely with teachers, school psychologists, and families to support students progress
• Document student progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with school and state guidelines
• Participate in meetings, in-services, and multidisciplinary team conferences
• Utilize evidence-based interventions and creative therapy techniques
