Position Summary

My Next Career Path Staffing is seeking Las Vegas residents to participate in a paid, two-week residential research study in Southern California.

Participants will attend scheduled sessions and answer questionnaires about general topics such as mood, stress, sleep, wellness, and personal experiences. Sessions are expected to occur approximately two to three times per day, generally lasting about one hour each.

Participants are not enrolling as patients in a drug or alcohol treatment program. The study does not require participants to take vitamins, 

medications, drugs, or other substances.

Key Responsibilities

• Attend scheduled research sessions and complete surveys and questionnaires.
• Participate in the scheduled daytime program, generally Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
• Follow the facility’s schedule, safety requirements, and rules for shared spaces.
• Interact respectfully with study staff and other participants.
• Keep personal phones put away during scheduled sessions.

Assignment Details

• Participants are scheduled for eight paid hours per weekday for 10 weekdays at $23.00 per hour.
• Transportation between Las Vegas and the study location will be arranged. Up to four hours of travel time each way will be paid.
• Participants will have a private bedroom and bathroom. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner will be provided.
• Free time may be spent using personal phones, communicating with family and friends, and enjoying available onsite activities.
• Participants must stay at the facility during the residential portion of the study. Offsite activities, when available, will be organized by the program; independent outings and onsite visitors are not permitted while enrolled.
• Participation is voluntary. Participants may withdraw and leave early, with payment handled according to the study’s payment schedule.

Required Qualifications

• Reside in the Las Vegas, NV, area and be available to travel to Southern California for the full two-week stay.
• Be a current or former union worker. Union affiliation may be from any state. Culinary and food-service union affiliation does not meet this study’s eligibility requirements.
• If currently active in a union, be able to provide a valid union medical insurance card.
• If formerly active in a union, be able to provide proof of active personal health insurance.
• Have a valid government-issued photo ID and a second form of ID.
• Be comfortable answering questions about general mental health and wellness topics.
• Be able to follow facility rules and participate respectfully in a shared residential setting.

Health insurance is required for study eligibility. The insurance company will not be contacted or billed for participation.

Screening Process

Applicants will complete a recruiter screening, an in-person interview, verification of required documents, and a facility safety screening. The exact travel schedule and additional study details will be reviewed before participation begins.
