Position Summary The Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our warehouse operations in Dublin, Georgia. This pivotal role requires a dynamic and experienced leader who can optimize efficiency, ensure safety, manage inventory, and lead a high‑performing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in warehouse management, logistics, and supply chain operations, with a proven track record of driving continuous improvement and achieving operational excellence. Key Responsibilities Plan, organize, and direct all outbound warehouse activities, including storage, order fulfillment, and shipping. Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to maximize efficiency, productivity, and quality. Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions. Ensure compliance with all company policies, safety regulations, and federal, state, and local laws. Oversee the maintenance and optimal utilization of warehouse equipment and facilities. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field. (Equivalent work experience may be considered.) Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in warehouse management or logistics, with at least 3 years in a leadership or managerial role. Proven experience managing a team of 190 or more employees. Strong understanding of warehouse management systems (WMOS) and inventory control principles. Demonstrated experience in process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma). In-depth knowledge of OSHA regulations and warehouse safety best practices. Proficiency in Google Suite (Google Sheets, Slides, Docs). Excellent leadership, communication, interpersonal, and problem‑solving skills. Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and manage multiple priorities. Strong analytical and decision‑making abilities. Team Management & Development: Recruit, train, mentor, and motivate a diverse team of warehouse associates, supervisors, and leads. Conduct performance reviews, provide constructive feedback, and develop individual development plans. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment that promotes teamwork, safety, and continuous learning. Manage staffing levels, scheduling, and labor allocation to meet operational demands. Inventory Management: Implement and maintain robust inventory control systems to ensure accuracy and minimize discrepancies. Oversee regular cycle counts and physical inventories. Collaborate with procurement and sales teams to optimize inventory levels and prevent stockouts or overstock situations. Safety & Compliance: Champion a strong safety culture, ensuring all warehouse operations adhere to strict safety protocols and OSHA regulations. Conduct regular safety audits and implement necessary training and corrective actions. Investigate and report all incidents, accidents, and near misses. Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process optimization, cost reduction, and efficiency gains. Lead and participate in continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, Six Sigma) to streamline workflows and enhance productivity. Implement new technologies and best practices to modernize warehouse operations. Budget & Financial Management: Manage the warehouse budget, control expenses, and identify cost‑saving opportunities. Monitor and report on operational costs and variances. Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Work closely with other departments (Sales, Customer Service, Procurement, Transportation) to ensure seamless operations and customer satisfaction. Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders. Personal Attributes Certification in project management. Experience with specific WMOS software. Forklift certification or experience operating various material handling equipment. Experience with transportation logistics and carrier management.
