Overview Registered Nurse – Case Management travel assignment in Kansas City, KS. Start date: 10/25/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay range: $2,155 to $2,217. No guaranteed hours. Shift: Four 10-hour day shifts per week. Work setting involves ambulatory oncology care with a focus on coordination of care for complex patient populations, including head and neck oncology teams. Key Highlights Weekly pay: $2,155–$2,217 per week Contract duration: 13 weeks Shift: Four 10-hour days per week Start date: 10/25/2026 Work setting: ambulatory oncology clinic with cross-cover responsibilities Guaranteed hours: None Responsibilities Coordinate and manage care for oncology patients in an ambulatory clinic, aligned with a single provider and cross-covering a disease site as needed. Obtain medical records, schedule scans/tests, and coordinate referrals and follow-up visits to support treatment plans. Communicate with patients and families; provide education on treatment plans, medications, and follow-up steps. Perform, or assist with, RN-level skills as required in the clinic, including IV placement, port access, skin/wound care, trach care, and PEG tube care. Document thoroughly in the electronic medical record; ensure timely and accurate information sharing across the care team. Collaborate with medical and surgical oncology teams to coordinate care and maintain continuity for the head/neck cancer patient population. Requirements Kansas RN license (active) and American Heart Association BLS certification 2+ years of recent clinic RN experience with adults and pediatrics Experience in patient-facing roles utilizing IV placement, port access, skin/wound care, trach care, PEG tube care Ability to work in an ambulatory clinic setting; strong attention to detail and thorough communication Oncology knowledge is preferred but not required This is a travel assignment; candidates must be able to travel as needed Benefits and Support Biweekly payroll 13-week assignment with dedicated assignment coordination Travel assignment support through Healthforce Healthcare LLC Please note: Pay rates and guaranteed hours are estimates and may vary.
