Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to telemetry patients, including frequent rhythm assessment and interpretation of cardiac monitor data
- Administer medications, monitor patient status, document care in the electronic health record, and respond to changes in condition
- Collaborate with physicians, ancillary staff, and the broader care team to coordinate care plans and ensure patient safety
- Perform ongoing patient and family education related to telemetry care, treatments, and discharge planning as appropriate
- Maintain unit operations, assist with triage and prioritization of care, and float to related acute care or overflow units as needed
- Complete required documentation and contribute to safe, quality outcomes in a fast-paced hospital environment

Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in Kansas (KS RN) and BLS certification
- Education: Associate degree in Nursing; Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred
- Experience: 1+ year of Telemetry nursing experience in a hospital setting
- Specialty: Telemetry/Telemetry RN with strong monitoring and critical-thinking skills
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts, including weekend requirements (Fri–Sun)
- Floating flexibility to other acute care units as needed based on divisional needs
- Credentialing readiness: CBC, DS, and lab work must be completed within 72 hours of offer acceptance
- Orientation requirements: complete specified onboarding training and unit-specific education
