Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on a Telemetry unit, including assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation for adult patients
- Monitor cardiac rhythms and telemetry data; administer prescribed medications and IV therapies within scope of practice
- Respond to clinical changes, escalate to physicians or the care team as needed, and participate in rapid response when appropriate
- Document care in the electronic health record with accurate and timely charting
- Collaborate with physicians, charge nurses, and multidisciplinary team to support safe, effective patient care
- Educate patients and families about conditions, treatments, and post-discharge needs
- Float to adjacent units within scope of practice and per unit guidelines

Requirements
- Current, valid Kansas RN license
- BLS certification
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or higher
- 1+ year Telemetry RN experience in a hospital setting
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts (1900–0730)
- Willingness to float to other units as needed
