About The Opportunity The Infinite Kitchen is the heart of Wonder’s automation future. After successful deployments to 30 locations, we are now scaling our footprint, expanding partnerships, and diversifying menu capabilities. As the Sr.Manager, Software Engineering for Infinite Kitchen, you will become the primary technical owner of the Infinite Kitchen software ecosystem. Responsibilities Own the end‑to‑end software architecture of the Infinite Kitchen. Ensure seamless integration of the Python robotics layer or PLC firmware with our Elixir‑based APIs and Vue.js frontends. Lead the design and implementation of high‑priority features such as multi‑tenancy support for B2B clients and complex new menu logic. Run daily / thrice‑weekly stand‑ups and mentor software engineers across functional silos. Review technical specifications and code, providing feedback that levels up the entire team. Champion engineering excellence by enforcing high‑quality release standards, leading deployment rollout strategies, and production monitoring. Participate in the on‑call rotation and other operational duties required of all Infinite Kitchen engineering roles. Collaborate closely with Product Managers to translate business requirements into technical reality. Debug complex race conditions or integration hurdles with engineers for rapid shipping. Qualifications 6+ years of professional software experience. 2+ years in a leadership or staff‑level capacity. Track record of quickly learning new paradigms and languages. Experience with physical systems, IoT, or industrial automation. Pragmatist mindset to determine when to build robust, scalable solutions and when to ship a “good enough” version to unblock a B2B pilot. Experience making design decisions collaboratively with engineers. Work Arrangement & Compensation This role requires 4 days a week in the office (up to 5 days encouraged). It is based in the Boston office in Charlestown, MA. Salary range: $208,000–$225,000 per year. Benefits Competitive salary package including equity and 401(k).
