You will also be expected to follow established policies related to preventative maintenance paperwork and part usage.* Can you **provide excellent customer service*** Do you **prioritize Quality****WHAT YOU BRING*** High school diploma or general education degree (GED), at least 7 years’ maintenance mechanic experience in a manufacturing environment. Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.* Experience using MS Office suite, specifically Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Must be able to use a Computerized Maintenance Management System. Must be able to Prepare and review work orders, material requisitions, reports, and other documentation.* Must understand and be able to explain basic **electrical theory**, including OHMS law, and be able to demonstrate understanding of simple circuits, both AC and DC, up to 480 Volts. Must also have the ability to test and troubleshoot a motor and motor controls.* Must understand and be able to explain basic **fluid power principles** (hydraulics and pneumatics) such as the difference between flow and pressure and how to calculate force of a cylinder.* Must understand and be able to explain basic **mechanical principles**, such as how to change the speed of a rotating assembly and how to calculate the force needed to move an object.* Must have **fabrication skills,** including the ability to perform repair welding and basic drilling, bolting, and torquing for various fasteners.
