To further this mission, Callen-Lorde promotes health education and wellness, and advocates for LGBTQ+ health issues. **About the Role:**Callen-Lorde is seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse to join our integrated team. As an LPN you will play a crucial role in assisting primary care providers, including physicians and mid-level providers, in delivering top-notch patient care. Your responsibilities will include providing general nursing care, assisting with triage, offering patient services, and providing clinical support. **Key Responsibilities:**As a Licensed Practical Nurse, your responsibilities will include:* Assist primary care providers in delivering patient care services.* Provide general nursing care under the supervision of healthcare professionals.* Assist with triage procedures and patient assessments.* Offer patient services with empathy and professionalism.* Provide clinical support in various healthcare settings.* Always ensure confidentiality of patient information.* Collaborate effectively with other members of the Nursing team.**Work Schedule:** This full-time position requires three opening shifts (8am-5pm) and two evening shifts (12pm-9pm) per week, along with a rotating Saturday shift from 9am to 3pm once per month.**Benefits:**Salary will be based on experience and will be accompanied by a comprehensive benefits package including an exceptional low cost medical plan option for you, your spouse/domestic partner and/or your family, dental insurance, vision insurance, no cost life insurance, short- and long-term disability insurance, Flexible Spending Account, Tuition Assistance, commuter benefits, a generous paid time off plan, and a 403B retirement savings plan.## Qualifications* New York State LPN License* Current CPR certification* Strong Computer Competency* Two years experience in an out-patient clinical setting preferred* Experience serving Callen-Lorde's target populations preferred**Desired Characteristics, Skills*** Commitment to the mission of Callen-Lorde* Commitment to community-based primary care* Ability to work within a team-based structureCallen-Lorde is the global leader in LGBTQ healthcare.
