A healthcare facility in Boone, NC is seeking two skilled Inpatient Pharmacists to join their pharmacy team on a contract basis. This position requires professionals with expertise in hospital inpatient pharmacy operations to support safe and effective medication use for hospitalized patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately dispensing and reviewing inpatient medication orders
- Collaborating with healthcare providers to optimize drug therapy and patient outcomes
- Monitoring for potential drug interactions and adverse effects
- Maintaining compliance with hospital pharmacy policies and regulatory standards
- Participating in clinical rounds and patient care discussions as needed
Desired Experience:
- Licensed Pharmacist with valid credentials to practice inpatient pharmacy
- Proven experience in hospital inpatient pharmacy settings
- Strong knowledge of pharmacotherapy, drug distribution, and medication safety
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
