Associate Manufacturing - Days
Amgen Inc
Amgen seeks a Manufacturing Associate to support biotech production operations in West Greenwich, Rhode Island. The role involves operating equipment, maintaining records, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards while working rotating 12-hour shifts after a 2–6 week onboarding period.
Responsibilities
- Operate manufacturing equipment and monitor critical production processes
- Complete routine validation protocols and maintain production records
- Draft and revise manufacturing procedures, SOPs, and technical reports
- Participate on cross-functional teams and implement process improvements
- Own deviations and corrective action requests as assigned
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED plus 2 years manufacturing or operations experience
- Associate degree plus 6 months manufacturing or operations experience
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- Knowledge of large-scale biotechnology operations such as purification or aseptic processing
- Ability to follow Standard Operating Procedures and interpret GMP requirements
- Basic troubleshooting skills and mechanical aptitude
