Position OverviewDelamere Mental Health is seeking dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Workers (LCSW) to join our team in Chestertown, Maryland. In this remote, full-time position, you will play a pivotal role in providing exceptional psychotherapy services to individuals facing a range of mental, behavioral, and emotional health challenges. Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough assessments of patients' psychosocial needs, strengths, and social support systems to develop effective treatment plans.
- Engage with clients to establish therapeutic relationships that enhance their willingness to share and participate in their own care, thereby fostering trust and mutual respect.
- Design and implement individualized care plans that include achievable treatment goals, ensuring alignment with the unique needs of each patient.
- Provide both individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing integrative techniques to aid clients in managing stress, overcoming obstacles, and developing coping strategies.
- Continuously monitor and adjust treatment strategies based on patient progress, offering consistent encouragement and support throughout their mental health journey.
- Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and advocate for ongoing patient needs within the healthcare system.
This position focuses on serving a diverse clientele, including adults, children, and adolescents, each experiencing various mental health challenges. You will address a wide range of issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavioral problems. Your skills and understanding of different developmental stages will be crucial in tailoring your approach to meet the specific needs of each demographic.
Qualifications- Must be fully licensed and credentialed to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Maryland.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or related field is required; a Master's degree is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with a diverse population.
- Minimum of 2 years of unsupervised post-licensure experience providing psychotherapy.
- Demonstrated experience working with adults and adolescents in a therapeutic setting.
- Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems to document patient interactions and treatment outcomes effectively.
