Job Summary
The Prototype Project Coordinator (Level I) will assist with the planning and coordination of projects and their activities. The role will ensure implementation of processes and practices. The Prototype Project Coordinator (Level I) will maintain and track data and schedules for relevant projects. This position is located onsite in Livonia, MI.

As a Prototype Project Coordinator, you will:

• Assist with planning, scheduling, and coordinating office and shop activity and relay customer expectations.
• Assist in developing and executing small project plans.
• Complete milestones on time and within budget, work with the cross-functional team to ensure deliverables.
• Review data from customers, suppliers, and create reports.
• Coordinate assignments for subcontractors and monitor performance of vendors.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

As a Prototype Project Coordinator, you will need:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least six months of relevant automotive experience
• Detail oriented, effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Good customer service skills, reliable attendance and ability to work overtime.
• Ability to follow directions, learn new skills and technologies, multi-task in a fast-paced work environment.
• Ability to compile lessons learned for continuous quality development.
• Basic computer skills (Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel).

A successful candidate may also have:

• Associate degree in Business or related.
• Experience in automotive systems
• Experience in writing repair processes
