Senior Highway Project Manager (PE) / Transportation Project Manager
Location: Rochester, NY (open to candidates across Upstate New York including Buffalo and Syracuse)
My client is seeking a licensed Professional Engineer to lead highway and transportation projects. This role is ideal for experienced engineers with project management experience and Engineer of Record (EOR) responsibility who are ready to take ownership of project delivery, mentor the next generation of engineers, and work directly with clients and leadership.

What You'll Be Doing
- Lead roadway design including ADA, drainage, and complete streets
- Serve as Engineer of Record (EOR) on transportation projects
- Manage scope, schedule, budget, and project teams
- Coordinate with structures, utilities, signals, and environmental teams
- Prepare specifications, cost estimates, and bid documents
- Provide QA/QC for engineering deliverables
About You
- Be able to do the job as described.
- Hold a BS in Civil Engineering.
- Have a New York State PE license.
- Have served as Engineer of Record on at least 2 roadway projects.
- Bring project management experience in transportation design.
