Respiratory Therapist

Provide specialized respiratory therapy services to adult and neonatal patients in a hospital setting. Administer treatments, operate advanced respiratory equipment, and ensure patient safety and comfort during care.

Responsibilities:

• Administer respiratory treatments such as nebulizers, ventilator management, and CPAP/BIPAP therapies.
• Monitor and operate advanced ventilators, including Draeger and Hamilton V60 models, ensuring optimal patient outcomes.
• Document patient care accurately and timely within the EMR system, Allscripts Sunrise.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement respiratory care plans.
• Maintain and troubleshoot respiratory equipment, ensuring proper function and safety.
• Follow hospital policies and guidelines related to respiratory therapy procedures and patient safety.

Qualifications:

• Hold NBRC credentials as CRT or RRT and possess a valid NH Respiratory License.
• Demonstrate at least 2 years of relevant clinical experience in respiratory therapy.
• Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Exhibit strong patient interaction skills and professionalism.
• Prefer candidates with mechanical skills and experience with advanced respiratory procedures.
• Certified in ACLS and NRP.
