Job Description Own a defined design project or project segment, contributing to new product development, sensor design improvement, or technology investigation efforts. Design and execute laboratory experiments and evaluations to characterize sensor or system performance. Support test solution preparation, laboratory equipment maintenance, and test setup development. Maintain laboratory safety by safely handling chemicals and following established testing procedures. Support additional technical initiatives as business needs arise. For This Role, You Will Need: Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering or chemistry Zero (0) years of related professional experience required Ability to work full‑time (40 hours) per week in‑person at a Twin Cities location (Shakopee, Chanhassen, or Eden Prairie, MN) Legal authorization to work in the United States Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart: Coursework or project experience in analytical chemistry, electrochemistry, or sensor design Familiarity with measurement technologies such as pH, conductivity, dissolved oxygen, or optical sensing Laboratory experience, including safe chemical handling practices Prior internship or undergraduate research experience Strong written and verbal communication skills Our Culture & Commitment to You: At Emerson, we prioritize a workplace where every employee is valued, respected, and empowered to grow.
