Telepsychiatrist - Austin, TX

$300,000 | Full-Time | Monday-Friday

We are seeking a full-time Psychiatrist to provide telepsychiatry services to patients within the Texas correctional system. This position is based in Austin, TX. The physician will work from an office setting and provide psychiatric care through secure telehealth technology.

Schedule:

• Monday-Friday

• 8:00 AM-4:00 PM or 9:00 AM-5:00 PM

• No call

Responsibilities:

• Psychiatric evaluations

• Medication management

• Treatment planning and follow-up care

• Clinical documentation

• Collaboration with nursing and behavioral health staff

Requirements:

• MD or DO

• Completion of Psychiatry Residency

• Board Certified or Board Eligible

• Active Texas Medical License

• DEA registration or ability to obtain

• Must reside in Texas

Preferred:

• Correctional Psychiatry experience

• Forensic Psychiatry experience

• Addiction Psychiatry experience
