The Shipping and Receiving Clerk plays a crucial role in managing all types of shipments, ensuring timely and accurate processing of orders and packages. This role involves coordinating shipment schedules, handling documentation, and maintaining quality standards using manual record keeping and standard office software.
Responsibilities
- Process orders and handle all types of shipments
- Manage package handling and quality inspection
- Schedule shipments to meet delivery deadlines
- Perform accurate data entry and document management
- Maintain communication with relevant departments and partners
Preferred Qualifications
- 3+ years experience in shipping and receiving
- Associate degree in Logistics or related field
- Familiarity with shipping software
- Forklift operation skills
- Strong data entry and time management abilities
- Effective communication and problem-solving skills
