Description

• Define and implement Ignition SCADA systems; create and maintain clear documentation describing solution design and implementation

• Partner with customers and internal functional analysts to define functional requirements

• Break down work into technical tasks consumable by internal developers and configurators and oversee task completion

• Testing and on-site commissioning of control systems

• Travel to customer sites to perform requirement gathering, deployment, and post-deployment support (up to 15% travel)

• Work in team environment with engineers and designers, partners and clients to provide state of the art Control Systems to improve efficiency, product quality, and profitability of process manufacturing

• Apply modern software engineering practices (CI/CD, infrastructure as code, automated testing) to manage deployments

• Explore and apply emerging technologies, including frontier agentic AI and LLM-based automation, to improve efficiency, quality, and scalability

REQUIRED:

• 2+ years of configuration experience within Ignition

• Thorough understanding of control systems

• Integration with enterprise systems such as ERP and PLM

• T-SQL query and stored procedure development

• Client display and web report configuration

• Modern web-based UI configuration and deployment

• Ability to integrate new software modules with existing systems

• Demonstrated adaptability and curiosity to explore emerging approaches such as AI, low-code/no-code integration, and iterative requirement definition

This is a Permanent position based out of Aurora, OH.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $130000.00/yr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
