Job Title: Electrical Foreman

Job Description

Join a dynamic team working on the Poet Expansion Project, a commercial and industrial electrical installation endeavor expected to run through April 2027. This role primarily involves running rigid and IMC conduit from lifts and elevated work areas. Daily tasks include measuring, bending, threading, and cutting conduit, pulling wire, installing cable tray systems, and completing electrical terminations. The position requires comfort with heights and operating lifts, as well as performing physically demanding tasks in an active construction environment.

Responsibilities

• Measure, bend, thread, and cut conduit.

• Pull wire and install cable tray systems.

• Perform electrical terminations.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in running rigid and IMC conduit.

• Experience with conduit bending, cutting, and threading.

• Ability to interpret blueprints and electrical schematics.

• Strong electrical wiring and industrial terminations skills.

• Capability to lead a team, including a mix of journeymen and less experienced electricians.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience ranging from 1 to 3 years is acceptable.

• Higher skilled people with be compensated accordingly

• Ability to communicate in Spanish and English is a plus

• Possess personal tools such as basic tools and a drill, while power tools will be provided onsite.

Work Environment

The role is based in an industrial environment with work conducted both indoors and outdoors, depending on weather conditions. The schedule averages 40–50 hours per week, with most weeks closer to 50 hours. Workdays begin at 7:00 AM. Required PPE includes a hard hat, steel-toed or composite-toed work boots, safety glasses, gloves, and high-visibility apparel.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $40.00/hr.
