AI Engineer III
Job opportunity in the Retail / E-commerce industry! This position would be on-site full-time in Houston, TX. Join a growing global company that is prioritizing automation and in-house AI / ML solutions. This is a newly formed position and requires someone with experience in an enterprise Microsoft environment who can collaborate as well as work independently to design, develop, and deploy production-ready solutions. The AI Engineer III would report to the VP of Enterprise Data Platform and work alongside business stakeholders from every department. The technical environment is as follows: Microsoft Azure, SQL, Python, Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, and OpenAI. They also have ERP, WMS, and CRM systems. Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a relevant field.
- Hands-on experience with data solutions in a Microsoft enterprise environment
- Proficient with SQL, Python, Power BI reporting, and Microsoft Azure tools
- Designing and supporting ETL / ELT pipelines
- Experience working in AI tools such as: Microsoft Fabric, OpenAI, MS Azure AI, MS Azure ML, LLMs, ML models, Copilots, Chatbots, and Agents
- Knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Transportation Management Systems (TMS), and Customer Relationship Management (CRM)
- On-site in Houston, TX, with travel to other company locations as needed
