Job Description Job Description Position Overview We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Dishwasher / Prep Cook to join our team at a licensed inpatient Substance Abuse and Mental Health treatment center. This role is essential in maintaining a clean, safe kitchen and dining environment while assisting with meal preparation and serving residents. This is a Monday–Friday position with consistent hours and a supportive, mission-driven team environment. Responsibilities Wash dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and kitchen equipment Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen and food prep areas Assist with food preparation (chopping, portioning, basic cooking tasks) Serve meals to patients in a professional and respectful manner Clean and sanitize dining room tables, chairs, and service areas Sweep and mop kitchen and dining areas Take out trash and maintain organized storage areas Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines Support kitchen staff as needed Qualifications Previous kitchen, dishwasher, prep cook, or food service experience preferred Knowledge of basic food safety practices Ability to work in a structured healthcare environment Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented Must be able to pass a Level 2 background screening What We Offer Full-time, steady weekday schedule (no weekends) Supportive team environment Opportunity to work in a healthcare setting serving individuals in recovery If you are dependable, organized, and take pride in maintaining a clean and welcoming environment, we encourage you to apply.
